To me, he is very cute and relatable as a tsundere, as they are one character type that I particularly enjoy. I know he would not always like this, as the English were very hostile in various parts of their empire, and I do explore that in my own works, but the England that the canon presents is simply sarcastic and tsun towards the other nations.
