"Nations have free will" [disagree]
With this one, I will be talking quite extensively in a later post discussing my feelings and ideas behind why I disagree with it, so I will not be doing that here. Keep an eye out for the next post or so if you care to know.
"England wears glasses" [interesting]
I find this headcanon quite cute, and I have no real problems with it. The idea that England would wear glasses just for appearance is reasonable, though I would want to work out what type of glasses they are. Naturally, they would mess with his vision if they were prescription, but back in the era of pirates, I'm not sure that fake glasses existed. Prescription glasses them were much different than they are today.
"America forgets that kid again" [interesting]
This one is actually pretty sad yet cute. I could see this happening pretty easily, with as common as it is for characters to forget Canada. Despite this, I don't believe that America and Canada would have both been under English rule as children. England gained Canada after the Sever Years'/French and Indian War, and America rebelled soon after. I doubt France and England would have a play date with their American colonies given their tense relations, unless you were shipping the FACE family.
"Arthur is Arthur" [Amusing]
I found this headcanon to be quite funny. Saying that England was King Arthur is not unheard of, and I believe that it would be quite interesting if that were the case, but the rest of it is quite creative. The "reincarnation" part is a bit odd considering that King Arthur and America existed in separate time periods, and if England doesn't know about America being Guinevere, then there's no reason to be tsundere.
"The Awesome Prussia's fear" [interesting]
I was not aware that this was a fear, and it's a so ridiculous that I had to look it up to see if was even real. It's pretty funny, and I can honestly see Prussia having this fear, no matter how silly it is.
"You sunk my armada" [Amusing]
This one is quite funny as well. Again, I can honestly see this happening, though I'm not sure why Spain would subject himself to it more than a few times before refusing to play with England anymore. Perhaps he just wants to beat England and get revenge.
I would love to discuss with you, but I do not know enough about Hetalia to comment. I do read your posts though.
ReplyDeleteActually keep meaning to look into this anime. Seems interesting enough but with work keeping me busy five out of the seven days of the week, its hard to do this much when you get home around twelve am. So, yeah, hard to debate and such with you when I lack the knowledge of the anime. Sorry bout that. But I have been reading your blog with a growing interests.
